A dark tortoiseshell she-cat slipped out of the leader's den, her long, bushy red tail flicking restlessly. Vixenstar had only been leader for a little while, after the previous leader, Yellowstar, died. And already it seemed that the cats of ZapClan respected her... It was a little disturbing, as she'd always been known as a trickster by the other cats. And now they dipped their head in respect every time she was near. Odd, right?
OOC:i just made a name up for the previous leader...is that OK?

A small yet fluffy black and gray she-cat pricked her ears at the sound of a cat leaving the leader's den. Her orange-yellow eyes looked up from where she was grooming her soft and silky kittypet fur. The she-cat's small toung was hanging out in mid-licked on her chest. Gravitiationalpaw slid her toung back into her maw, but it came back out and swiped over her black maw. The apprentice got up from her spot, shook her fur, and half-heartedly trotted up to the leader, Vixenstar. Gravity didn't really like clanlife, but it was a lot better than kittypet life. The thing she didn't get was this thing about Destinyclan. Apparently they were Zapclan, Whisperclan, Brookclan, and Runningclan's ancestors, but she didn't even know how a clan can live in the sky. The black and gray she-cat shook her head and came to a stop as she neared Vixenstar. "Vixenstar?" She mewed. "May I ask you a question?"

Vixenstar looked at the young she-cat. "Yes, Gravitationalpaw?" Oy. That was a long name. She would have a hard time thinking of a warrior name for her. She sat, wrapping her tail around her paws tightly. I have to start thinking about what will happen to our prey... Already the few warriors that ZapClan had were starving.

The black she-cat's ears pricked again when the leader replied. Her yellow-orange eyes blinked, and she tilted her head. Before the she-cat spoke, she sat down, too, and her tail flicked near her black paws. She looked like a giant fluff ball there, but she didn't care anymore. "Um... I never really caught this when I joined this clan, but what or who is Destinyclan, exactly?" Gravity asked, making her eyes round with wonder, as if she was a kit listening to an Elder's story about the past. It was true. She wasn't told who or what Destinyclan is, exactly. All she heard was to not make them angry, or something like that.

Vixenstar sighed. "Hm.... How should I explain this?" She wracked her brain for a pleasable solution to help Gravitationlpaw understand. "I guess, to put it simply, DestinyClan is the place where all Clan cats go when they die. CrimsonClan have their TwistedClan ancestors. So, mainly, DestinyClan right now is made up of our ancestors. Or the cats who made these Clans." Then she purred nervously. "Guess I didn't help that much. It barely made sense, even to me."

The black and gray she-cat tilted her head again and sighed. That was no help, what-so-ever... The apprentice got up from her spot and started to turn away to one of the shadows in the clearing that she liked to blend into. "Thanks for the help..." She muttered crossly as she went to the shadows.

"Wait!"Vixenstar called, getting to her paws. "I have one more thing to add to that!" Ugh...what a stupid thing to say! Like this apprentice, who was a kittypet before, listen to her? Not like she was a leader or anything. Oh wait. She was. Dang! She'd forgotten again.

Gravitationalpaw's ear flicked at the call for her to stop and wait. Ung... The black and gray she-cat turned her head slightly and stared straight at the leader, who looked like she forgot that she was leader. "What?" She called half-heartedly.

Gravity tilted her head at Vixenstar's words. "Wise? Hmph." The black she-cat grunted and turned from the leader. "If you'll please, I need to ponder on my many thoughts..." She mewed, flicking her long fluffy tail. The she-cat slipped back into the shadows, humming a small tune to herself.
